Switch Up – Kitchenware, Dinnerware and Rug Exchange

Now through October 6th participate in Switch Up and exchange your kitchenware, dinnerware and rugs to help someone in need! Didriks, Local Root and Gregorians have teamed up with local non-profit Furnishing Hope of Massachusetts, Inc.  Customers can trade in used dinnerware, kitchenware and rugs for 15% off corresponding items at Didriks, Local Root and Gregorians. This promotion is in-store only. Furnishing Hope of Massachusetts, Inc. is a Cambridge based nonprofit that was founded in 2012 to help Boston area families transitioning out of homelessness. They partner with local agencies who work with homeless families to identify those who have little or no resources and help them to create a home as they move into stable housing. They provide furniture, home goods, and moving services to these families. To date, Furnishing Hope has provided home essentials to over a hundred Boston area families. Salon Series Concert at The Mill

Salon Series Concert at The Mill

On Thursday, February 13, The Mill at Newton Lower Falls and Gregorian Rugs will be hosting the Pro Arte Salon Series. The event will take place at 7pm, and will feature some of Boston’s finest stringed instrument musicians. “Hear some of Boston’s best virtuosos on an intimate scale and join them in lively roundtable discussions in comfortable, friendly surroundings. Last year’s repertoire included classics by Brahms, Schubert, Schumann, Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Vivaldi along with modern works by Ravel, Arnold, Ibert, de Wailly and others. We plan equally interesting and engaging works this year, and offer them on convenient weekday evenings.” For more information, please visit the Pro Arte website.
